Tafarn Y Bont in Menai Bridge is flourishing under a new local management team who have made a number of exciting changes to the beautifully situated eatery. Brother and sister outfit, Ashley Wood and Clare Byng, took the reigns towards the end of October and look forward to welcoming drinkers and diners alike over the festive period. Ashley;previously worked at the Pier House in Beaumaris and Clare has a wealth of local bar and restaurant experience. The pair have brought a family atmosphere back to Tafarn Y Bont and have exciting new year plans for the conservatory and outdoor area. New signage only confirms the commitment to ushering a new era. More immediately, bookings are still being taken for Christmas parties - with special party menus available - and a few precious spaces remain for tables on Christmas Day, New Year's eve bookings are also being taken now. On a weekly basis a number of affordable and tastbud tempting offers are proving a hit, on Monday, all steaks are £5 off, and all week the 6pm-7pm courses for an excellent £13.95.
